What happens today
Chamas run on a WhatsApp group, a notebook and one very patient treasurer. When a rotation is disputed or a member wants to see their contributions, everything depends on that notebook and that person’s memory.

Fair questions
Do all members need smartphones?
No. Members without smartphones get SMS summaries; the treasurer records for them.
Can the group stay small?
Yes. It is designed for 10 to 60 members.
