Ananke for Salons

BraidsKinyoziNailsColourLocs

Bookings with deposits, fair commissions and clients who come back. Built for the people who make Nairobi look good.

Walk-ins welcome. Bookings preferred.

The line-up, as the signboard

Each style on the board is a product. Most salons start with bookings.

Why this line exists

A salon is a team of talented people sharing chairs, products and clients. Disputes about commission, no-shows on a busy Saturday and products that walk out of the store cost more than most owners realise. This line respects the craft and keeps the money straight.

In detail

Appointments and M-Pesa deposits

Online booking with deposits

Bookings that show up, because they paid a deposit

A Saturday slot is worth protecting.

Clients book by DM and do not show. Long services like braids block a chair for hours, and a no-show costs the stylist a day’s income.

  • Booking link for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
  • Deposit by M-Pesa to confirm, amount set per service.
  • Reminders the day before and an hour before.
  • Waitlist to fill cancelled slots.
Can walk-ins still come?

Yes, the calendar shows open chairs.

Refunds?

Your policy, shown to the client before they pay.

Fair, visible pay

Stylist commissions & payouts

Commissions everyone can check

No arguments on payday.

Commission is calculated on paper or from memory, and stylists suspect they are being shorted. Owners spend Sunday nights working it out.

  • Commission rules per stylist and per service.
  • Every service recorded against the stylist who did it.
  • Weekly or monthly payout statements.
  • Payouts by M-Pesa with records.
Different rates for different stylists?

Yes.

Product sales commission?

Products used and sold

Product stock & retail

Know where every tub of relaxer went

Stock for the chair, stock for the shelf.

Products are used on clients and sold over the counter, and nobody knows which. Expensive items disappear and reorders are guesswork.

  • Back-bar use and retail sales tracked separately.
  • Stock per item with reorder alerts.
  • Product cost per service so pricing is right.
  • Retail sales at the same till as services.
Do we have to weigh products?

No. We use simple estimates per service you can adjust.

Barcodes?

Know every client

Client history & loyalty

Remember her colour, her stylist and her birthday

Clients come back to people who remember them.

Clients’ preferences live in stylists’ heads. When a stylist leaves, the clients often follow. Repeat visits are not tracked.

  • Client profiles with service history, colour formulas and notes.
  • Rebooking reminders based on service type.
  • Birthday and loyalty rewards.
  • Owner-held client list, not stylist-held.
Is client data private?

Yes, with consent at sign-up and access by role.
