Convert / Influencer marketing

Creators who fitthe brief — and the brand.

Influencer management & communications
For Kenyan brands and the creators they hire.

Kenyan audiences trust people they already follow more than they trust ads. We source the right creators, run the campaign end to end, and report what actually moved — reach, engagement, clicks and conversions where they can be measured.

Ananke Digital runs influencer marketing in Kenya for brands: setting objectives, sourcing and vetting creators, briefs, contracts and fees, content approvals and reporting. Pricing: from KSh 80,000 management per campaign or 20% of creator fees, whichever is higher (about US$620); creator fees are passed through at cost. Prices exclude VAT, ad spend and creator fees; KSh 130 = US$1, Oct 2026. Paid partnerships are disclosed, and influencer work runs alongside social media, paid ads and PR.

How a brand campaign runs

Six steps. No mystery fees.

  1. 01

    Objectives and audience

What the campaign must achieve and who it must reach — by location, age, interests and language — before we look at any creator.

  2. 02

    Sourcing and vetting

We shortlist creators whose audience fits, then check insights, engagement quality, comment authenticity, past brand work and brand-safety history. Use our free engagement rate calculator for a quick sense-check.

  3. 03

    Briefing

Message, mandatory points, things to avoid, disclosure, timelines and usage rights — written down, with room for the creator’s own voice.

  4. 04

    Contracts and fees

Deliverables, revisions, exclusivity and payment terms in writing. Our influencer rate calculator is a transparent starting point; real fees depend on the creator and scope.

  5. 05

    Approvals and brand safety

Content reviewed against the brief before posting. During the campaign we watch sentiment and adjust timing or messaging if the public mood shifts.

  6. 06

    Reporting

Results from each creator, tracked links and codes, and a plain-English report on what worked and what we would change next time.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does an influencer campaign cost?

It depends on how many creators, which platforms and how long the campaign runs. After a short brief we send a written scope with creator fees and our management fee listed separately, so you see where every shilling goes.

Do you mark up creator fees?

No. Creator fees are passed through as agreed with the creator. Our fee is a separate management commission or fixed campaign fee, agreed in writing before work starts.

What commission do you take from creators?

For creators we represent, we take a commission on brand deals we manage — typically in the range Kenyan talent managers use (around 15–20% on deals we source). Exact terms are in the creator agreement before any pitching starts.

Do you only work with big influencers?

No. Micro and mid-tier creators often convert better for niche products. We recommend a mix based on the goal and budget, not follower counts alone.

Will posts be disclosed as ads?

Yes. Paid partnerships are disclosed. That protects the brand, the creator and the audience — and it is the standard we work to under Kenya’s advertising principles.

Can you also handle our social and PR?

Yes. Influencer work sits under Convert, next to social media and ads. For press and reputation work see PR & communications.

Influencer campaigns are one part of how we turn attention into orders. People still need a site that converts: see Websites.
