A counter,not a brochure.

WordPress websites for Kenyan businesses
Designed, built and looked after in Nairobi.

Most business websites are a brochure nobody asked for: a slider, a mission statement, a contact form that goes to an inbox nobody checks. Yours should work like a good shop counter. Someone walks up with a question, gets a straight answer, and leaves with a way to buy.

The teardown

Five jobs every page has to do.

Before we design anything, we draw your homepage on a phone and pin these five things to it. If a section does not serve one of them, it does not ship.

  1. 01

    The answer, first

The first screen on a phone says what you sell, who it is for and where you are. No slogan to decode, no carousel to wait for.

  2. 02

The questions that stop the sale

Delivery areas, how payment works, how long it takes, what happens if it goes wrong. We write these into the page, because the customer will not phone to ask.

  3. 03

    Proof you can check

Real photos, real addresses, registration details and policies in plain view. If you have reviews, we link to where they live. We never make them up.

  4. 04

    One obvious next step

A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with the right first message, a call link, or a booking. One main action per page, repeated where the thumb is.

  5. 05

    Light enough for bundles

Self-hosted fonts, compressed images, no page builder and no plugin pile. The site should open on a mid-range phone on a slow connection in a matatu.

What we build

Four kinds of site.

All on WordPress, with a lightweight custom theme, so your team can edit pages and publish posts without calling us.

What we leave out

Things you will not find on a site we build.

How it goes

Brief, build, hand over.

01 The briefA call about your customers and the questions they ask. Then a written scope, a sitemap and a fixed quote before any design.
02 The buildDesign on a phone first, then desktop. You see real pages on a private preview link, not mock-ups.
03 The handoverLaunch with SSL, backups, analytics, Search Console and redirects in place. Training for your team, and hosting and care if you want it.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, whether you sell online, and who writes the words. After a short call we send a written scope with a fixed quote, so you know the full cost before work starts.

How long does a build take?

We agree a timeline in the scope. Most of the waiting is usually on content and photos, so we start those on day one.

Will my team be able to edit it?

Yes. Pages are built with the WordPress block editor and a lightweight theme. We train your team and leave short written notes.

Can you take M-Pesa payments on the site?

Yes, through a payment gateway that supports M-Pesa, or by sending orders to WhatsApp with a payment link.

Do you write the content?

We can. Copy is written for the customer first and for search second. See content and copywriting.

Will it show up on Google?

Every site launches with clean structure, fast pages, structured data and a sitemap submitted to Search Console. Ranking for competitive searches takes ongoing work, which is what SEO and AI search is for.

Do I own the site?

Yes. The domain, the content and the hosting account are in your name.

Websites are one part of how we turn attention into orders. People still have to find the site: see Get found.
