Before founding Ananke, Brian was Head of Campaigns at one of Kenya’s largest digital news publishers, running multi-channel campaigns, influencer programmes and agency delivery for major brands.

In that role he helped grow the publisher’s X following from 70,000 to 2.6 million, and its combined audience across platforms to more than 10 million. He also edited a daily newsletter with over 300,000 subscribers and managed editorial teams of up to 15 writers.

He also led the team delivering the full digital communications mandate for a pan-African trade programme run by an international development organisation, across 14 African countries: strategy, social, WordPress, media relations, executive communications, crisis protocols and donor reporting.

Ananke Digital puts that experience to work for businesses, NGOs and institutions — and adds the web, AI and business-systems skills that most comms agencies outsource.
